Advanced Inventory Solution Workshop
Learn how to maintain, tune, troubleshoot, and maximize features for Altiris Inventory Solution® software in the Advanced Inventory Solution Workshop course. This course provides in-depth knowledge of Inventory Solution components, process flow, custom inventory, and database schema. Additionally, you learn about Inventory Solution for Windows, Mac, UNIX/Linux, handhelds, and network devices, and Inventory Pack for Servers. The workshop hands-on sessions feature extensive lab work and real-world scenarios. Note: Because this is an advanced course, you must have prior experience with Notification Server.

PrerequiSites
- Have attended the Notification System Foundation (NSF-A600) instructor-led training course or Notification System Foundation (NSF-E600) online training course
- (Optional) Have attended the Inventory Solution (INV-E600) online training course
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including LANs, network adapter cards, drivers,and network operating systems
- Familiarity with computer hardware components such as hubs, switches, and routers
- (Optional, but recommended) Familiarity using VMware
