Altiris and Cisco ACNS

Several years ago, Cisco’s IT department (an Altiris customer) asked Altiris to make minor code changes that would enable them to use their existing Application and Content Networking System (ACNS) infrastructure to distribute software packages and images. The results were impressive, and Cisco published a best practices white paper highlighting how Cisco IT is using the combination of ACNS and Altiris 6 to address their software distribution challenges.
